2008 2800 Only problem is the brakes squeek a little while backing out of my driveway but i'm taking it in this week and i think my alignment is off cause of the wonderful roads out here
2007 (In Service 2/25/07) Will have 19k sometime tomorrow. Delivered with bad rear alignment - fixed by shimming rear hub. Coolant Storage Pump makes nasty noises but still works. No other issues.
2004 115,000 miles - Oil changes every 6,000 Zero problems of any type. Brakes still have plenty of life. Coolant is clean still.
2004 88000 miles no problems... routine oil/filter changes/2 sets of tires/ and changed transaxle and inverter fluids...thats it...brakes still at 75%...
What was the steering recall about !?! ================== 2008 2250 mi. brakes feel more spongy than I'd like
(2007) 13 Aug 2007 10,700 Problems: MPG dive after the first oil change/tire rotation; and I keep stopping at the gas station. The problem is that I go in and buy soda and a snack. Oh -- the paint seems to scratch easily. It could just be me and tough circumstances, but the finish seems particularly touchy.
2004 28000 The dash squeaks sometimes, depending on the temperature. The mount for the glove box closer broke. I fixed it by adding a screw. The center console fabric was replaced under warranty after it started to pull away at the front.
Some component was slightly under-designed: if it was stressed, for example by running into a curb, it was possible that it would break later. The recall work on mine was completed without incident so I didn't think it was worth reporting it as a problem.
Exxon, Mobile, etc. filed a class action suite against Toyota because the Prius was steering away from gas stations. Or maybe it was the following-- '04-06 Toyota Prius Under certain conditions, steering assembly could loosen or crack, possibly resulting in loss of control and crash. Models: 170,000 hybrid vehicles. Hazard may occur if steering wheel is turned forcefully to the locked position at low speed or if tires contact roadside curb while driving. There have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to this condition, according to Toyota. What to do: Have dealer make necessary repairs. For information, call 800-331-4331. PA P
2005 with 83K miles on it. Never been to the dealership except for the 2 recall notices -steering column and computer reflash if I recall. Oh, and my paint looks like new.
March 31, 2007 (how con-vee-nent) Thank you taxpayers. 4276 miles Returned for an alignment under warranty. Some knucklehead (that would be moi) turned out the dash lights when he installed his EV switch. 50% returned, the rest still searching for the microvoltage. Vehicle doesn't leave the right lane on the Freeway, no matter how hard I try.
Ryan, welcome to PC. Perhaps you didn't notice the stickys just above your post? There, you'll find the folks with 100k and above.
