Straight from the Dealer's mouth Price: $24,871 Is this a good deal or not?
What is the name of the Dealership and are there any more deals like the one you got? I live in MD but will travel for such a good deal!
Lets put is this way. MSRP on a '08 Touring package #6 is right around $29,000. So assuming that this is real, that's a heck of a price. At the risk of sounding like wet blanket, I feel compelled to point out that old saw about "If it sounds too good to be true,...." I think I'd ask some serious questions about this car, like "what's wrong with it?", "how many miles?", "does it have a clean title?", ect.... Just food for thought.
That price was pretty much in the ballpark of my out-the-door price on my package 4 Prius. It is way too cheap for a Touring. Not possible, I would say.
Honest... when he quoted the price I emailed him back and asked him if it was a new one. He said it was brand spanking new and it had everything on it. I copied and pasted parts of his email into the org. post. Unless it's just a way of getting me in there. I wasn't even looking for a Pkg 6, more like a #2 and he sprung the #6 on me.
If you don't want it, I'll buy it and I live in Illinois. I will fly out to New England and drive back for that price
I paid $27,500 for the same package. Don't fall for the extras (gap, maint, security, etc). I love this package (same color too). BTW, I'd get the offer in writing.
I have an email with everything in it. I'm trying to get some money released and moved around. I want it... did you hear me, I want it and need it I'm running a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the big 8 cyclinder motor and it's not cheap to feed. I drive 60 miles to work and back every day 1/2 of it's city driving and the other half is highway. You all keep your eyes off my baby to be. lol
lol, jokes on you...troll or extremely gullable...play his and our bluff, have him fax you a sales order, then post it here..fact is as most here know are as follows: dealer invoice $21,506 touring, package 6 add $3,758 not including destination chgs etc that equals $25,264 and he'll sell it to you for $24,871 and lose $393...put that in yours and your dealers pipe and smoke it
I could post the 2 emails and then everyone in the world would know where the car was and it may not be there by the time I can get the money from my trustee. If it's still available and I can swing the deal I will post the paper work. I haven't answered him back yet so I don't know what will happen. All I need is for my Trustee to get the lead out and I'll be good to go.
Hmm. I live in Massachusetts and I bought my NON-TOURING package #6 2008 for $26,100 about a month ago. I did a bit of shopping around. In retrospect, I think I might have been able to get another dealer to shave a couple of hundred off that... Anyway, good luck with this deal. You can tell everyone who the dealer is after you have your new Prius in your hot little hands.
