Sorry if this has already been discussed (I'm sure it has) but I couldn't find anything after searching for a while... I've got a pretty good handle now on using P&G when driving around town at lower speeds (< 45 mph). But does this technique still apply when I'm on an interstate with a 65 mph speed limit? For example, should I be pulsing up to 70 mph and gliding down to 55 mph repeatedly? Or should I just try to keep a steady 60 mph instead? Tim
Do a search for Warp Stealth. That is the technique used for highways (over 42mph). I use it at 65-70mph. Have fun.
You can try pulsing up to 70 then gliding down to 55 but if your on 294 near Chicago doing that ,even me in MY Prius will probably shoot you......lol You would be better off just setting the cruise at 56 MPH and staying in the right lane. your overall MPG will be better, and you wont be shot. :biggrin1:
