Okay, not quite, but we took her to our local electric co-op's annual meeting to support renewable energy initiatives (our electric company is notorious for standing against anything but coal), and a picture of her ended up on the front page of a local paper with a fitting headline: IREA urged to explore alternative energy: Amid praise, co-op told to face the future I'm so proud of her!
Oh yeah, well my Prius was the star of a TV news report, I work for a TV station, and they were doing a report about hybrids, so they asked if they could use my car, I said yeah of course, and they did a standup next to it, stating how popular it was. Only terrible part was, the reporter got tounge tied, and stated at the end of the report, that the Prius gets 50 gallons to the mile. ound:
I work at a company that make hybrid systems for buses and one of the local news people took a tour. If you go to ISE Corporation - News - News Videos and look at the Channel 10 clip (second from the top) mine is the first Prius you see.
Thanks for the cutie comments! Hey, aaf709, did your company make some electric/hydrogen busses for RTD? They look like the type they have at 16th street mall.
I forgot to mention that it's a good article and a great picture to have for it. It's possible that we make the buses. There's lots of places we send the systems to.
She's an alright looking kid... I mean, it's too bad that she's not as cute as MY baby, but she's passable.
