    Hello everyone,
My father just purchased a brand new 2008 Prius and although his car is way more technical than any of my cars he still does not have a computer. He is looking for a few accessories for his car and has asked me to track them down for him.
-First one is a hood scratch protector or bra, does anyone know where to get one or have any feedback on the different available brands?
-Second one is the side window deflectors. I see that Weathertech makes a set. Does anybody know of any other brands? Does anybody have any feedback on the Weathertch's?

    Thanks in advance everyone!!!
I am sure that i will have additional questions in the future.
    -Brian

I would recommend trying to find a dealer that can install a "Clear Bra". If you do a search for those words you find a lot of information. It is the best looking method of protecting the hood albeit it is more expensive ($200-$700) than the typical cloth bra.

I cannot help you with the window deflectors. :(

Aloha--I just purchased a front window set of Weathertech rain guards (for my 3 week old car) and they are fine. Really help keep the rain from dripping down on the door electronics and also allow me to keep the windows cracked all day while the car is still outgasing from all the plastics. I didn't bother getting rear ones, supposedly they don't fit quite as well...
I also really like my new rear bumper guard for loading big things, including German Shephards.....

:welcome: Welcome to PriusChat, Brian! I second F8L's opinion of the 3M Clear Paint Protection Film; looks good because you can't see it! Be sure and check the Prius Shop for accessories, it helps support the site.

I am happy with the VentureShield film on my car. I would put a rubber strip or the applique on the top of the rear bumper.
