The other two buttons work fine, but the red panic button does not. Any little tricks out there that might help this situation?
Has it worked before? If not you may have to have that option turned on by your dealer. Your dealer will have to use their scantool to enable it. If it has worked before it may be the button. Does your other FOB panic button work?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(captnslur @ Jul 28 2006, 06:59 PM) </div> That's a nice touch. I can't tell you how many times the panic button for my Jeep was accidentally hit in my pocket and set the thing off. Requiring a 5 second continuous press will certainly make that much less likely to happen...
Geezze, I thought there was something wrong with my red button on my fob too. Thanks! I did not know you had to hold it down for 5 seconds. The horn seems louder in the "panic mode", could this be true?
