Hello Yall. I am new Prius owner for a week now. I am really enjoying a new type of vehicle. I am a grit growing southern boy who drives truck pretty much his whole life. I decided to get something with good fuel econonmy and naturally chose the Prius. To my suprise the Prius drove extremely well for such a small car. It actually drive as well as most luxury cars. I chose to go with an 08' White Touring package 3. The only addidtions I have made are: 35% tinted windows and leather to be installed in a few days. Thanks for the great info and looking forward to participating.
Welcome!! You have to post some pics of your new baby!! With gas at close to 4.00 I'll bet your glad you got the Prius.reggers:

I don't know if southerners would be offended, but now I'm craving the jalapeno/cheese grits I used to get at a place in NYC where I used to live. Nothing wrong with switching from a truck to a Prius, you just can't haul as many bales of hay in a Prius.
Hey GasHog. I just got my Prius on 3/31, so it's still less than a month old. I'm loving mine thus far with no problems and a 53.8 mpg average to date! I'm coming from a 2005 Nissan Truck (mid-sized) which averaged about 16 mpg. ... Brad
