Anyone know of a dog gate for the Prius? Basically a barrier between the front seats and the passenger area. Not something to go behind the back seats though. thanks for any suggestions!
We've actually used the one that came w/ our Jeep G Cherokee. Its adjustable and can be set to fit between the roof and the back of the seats with the seats down. I'm sure you can find something similar on the web.....
Uh uh, not so fast...it won't work. I've got one. The hinge point of the hatch is forward of the back seat back. If someone has something that is working it'll be the first I've heard....now if you can put the back seat down flat and put the dog guard just behind the front seats that will work fine, but not with the back seat up.
whew - I almost placed the order before I saw your reply. Alright then, I'll keep looking and hope someone finds a way. Don't really want to have to lower the seats to bring the dogs along... thanks for the catch!!
pdxfilms, I think you may have to build your own, e.g., with cargo netting (if that suffices for your dogs) anchored or secured in place with pressure rods, hooks, suction cups and/or velcro tape. I just click the Search button here, and then when the Search submenu drops down I use the Google Search option which automatically does a Google "[search term(s)] + priuschat.com" search.
