    Mr.K, welcome to PriusChat! :welcome:

I think the 08 manual should work just fine with an 07 Prius. Be aware that all the manuals contain erroneous and poorly worded passages. There is a separate manual for the Navigation system.

Be sure to look through the BT Tech threads on here for a pic of the real BT Tech stiffening plate. They are CNC milled and anodized. Don't accept an imitation...

Oh, things like telling you that you have automatic headlights and daytime running lights. If you're in Canada, you get DRLs, in the US you don't, but the manual makes no distinction. As for the poorly worded passages, I know you'll find lots of almost incomprehensible Japlish.

Get the manual(s). Ask questions here for the goofy parts.

If the stiffening plate isn't anodised it can cause accelerated corrosion where it is in contact with the steel body of your Prius. You don't want rust where a strengthening member is attached do you?

I believe the ebay stiffening plates are crap, made from inferior materials and poor workmanship. There is already a steel plate on the car which will be as good as the ebay one. The BT tech plate is a very good product.

I have the ebay stiffening plate since Jan.Had a look at it the other day while under the car no wear all 4 attachment points secure (i did use blue locktight)Yes i took a chance buying on ebay .So far so good and it was
only $50.00 all in .It has reduced rought road and the car feels more stable stronger, stiffer. I did drive a base Prius with the BT and it felt the same over the same roads .Also no rust through a ny winter (mild ). Time will tell .If you don't like to take chances go with BT I have several of their products and they are top shelf .So is the services.
