Hello All, The Dash Express Dash: The Only Internet Connected Automotive GPS - Drive Smart! is a GPS that connects to the internet through Wifi and/or a built in cell connection service. It directly address my two biggest issues with the current crop of GPS units. 1. Maps not up to date or even updatable. Dash updates its maps periodically and all you have to do is click ok. 2. Points of interest out of date or not yet available. Dash uses Yahoo Local in real-time. You can look up the gas stations around you with their current prices. Said to have the most accurate real-time traffic and routing. You can send info (like addresses) to the device via your MyDash website. The Dash Express has been used by beta testers the past year and if this $399 unit lives up to the hype, it will be a worthy GPS for my new Prius. It was released for sale last week. I ordered one and should be getting it next week. Will give you the full review once I've used it. If anyone else has one I'd like to hear about your experience. texnet, Houston 2008 Silver package #3
A bunch of people reviewed it on amazon.com. Seems like most liked it. It's 13 bucks a month for a subscription to have full functionality like the traffic feature.
