Hello, Anyone have any tips on removing sticker residue from the inside of the windows and windshield? I figure rubbing alcohol will be fine, but just wanted to see if anyone else had any remedies. Thanks!
Medical Adhesive Remover.... Available at most medical supplies, doctors offices, and hospitals... This stuff really gets it off easily. I have used it to remove the DNR stickers from boats that have been in place for over 10 years... It is not expensive.
I have used Goo Gone for years and it works great; and it's widely available at hardware stores, drug stores, etc. But it's petroleum based, and like a lot of other commercial solvents, it has a pretty strong chemical smell. So that medical adhesive remover that Lesturner mentioned sounds great too (cheap, effective, odorless, non-allergic), as does the eucalytus oil Pat Sparks mentioned (fairly cheap, effective, smells good, clears sinuses).
Goof-Off works great. I took off all of the stickers on my car using it. I would imagine nail polish remover would also work well. I would shy away from using anything sharp, such as razor blades and the like. You don't need them when using Goof-Off. The stickers come off with little effort.
