Just made it home from the dealer! Now what? I know, read all about it. By the time I was ready to leave the dealer it had gotten dark and I didn't have my glasses (yeah, I'm 'older') After opening the hood to take the parking brake off...ahem...then on the way home I couldn't even put a good radio station on for the 6 mile ride. sheesh. Anyway It's not the "race car" I just got rid of, but it's a great car none-the-less.
Thanks, I haven't had a new car in more than 16 years so I'm proud of myself for not buggering it up on the way home! har!
Congratulations, jeromehoward, welcome to PriusChat! :welcome: When I bought my 2005 some joker at the dealer set the nav to go to the dealer, and all the way home, like you, in the dark, the car kept telling me to make a U turn... Have fun this weekend!
Oh, we're havin' fun alright. A little driving, then read read reading. I mean, I'm gonna make sure I don't miss ANYTHING this car has to offer. I paid for it! I'm trying to think of the books as a 500 + page novel. Although I'll admit my wife just came in and woke me up (manual in lap)
LOL - the dealer planted a homing device. Good thing you didn't follow the NAV directions as they would have probably resold your car. Gabe
