New 2008 Black Touring, pkg 3 with a custom dealer ALL-Leather interior (full seats not just the front, arm rests, center console) Total price we pay: $26,084 Hoping you all agree that is a good price. Can anyone give us fast advice on other choices the dealer is offering? $550 for total car clearshield brand application 7 yrs 75,000 miles extended warranty - $945 (we assume it is better to wait and buy through this site?) For mats, we're thinking: Rubbertite cargo and floormats (we like the no-rim edge) (colors for interior yet to be decided... going back tomorrow to look at swatches) WE COULDN'T HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT MANY OF YOU!!!!!! Hi Jim! We're told we get the entire car, door handles, bumper, all of it clear-coated with the 3M product called "clearshield".
You can get 7/75,000 for less than that from Troy here on Priuschat. I paid around $300 less than that. For that money you're almost at 7/100,000. Check with Troy before getting extended from dealer. Is that front end 3M? And how far up the hood does it go? Include mirrors, completely bumper and fenders?
Save your money. Buy a new hood in six years, after the original has collected its share of rock dings.
