Got some pep We've had the prius for a week now. and my wife has been driving mostly. I've ridden with her a couple times while she soft foots it around town for the best milage. Well, I got ahold of it today while she was napping. I like the stealth in and out of the garage thing. So anyway, I wanted to see what this little golf cart could do. WOW. I was amazed at how good the pick up is. Now I'm not going to compare it to a V8, or anything like that, because that is not the reason why we bought this little gas saver and that's not the reason it was built. But It does have some get up a go. The more I'm around this little car, the more impressed I am with how it's designed and built. ----BUT------ With all this technology, why no power memory seats.
I have never had a car with power memeory seats. Is that a lexus / Accura / Necedes thing? My Chrysler minivans have had power seats with out memory. As far as the power recline, I would like to not have that as it is so slow, I would rather be able to quickly manualy move the seat backs to the reclining position of choice. Anyway, to the question, I suspect that the power memory seats were not included to keep the cost of the car as reasonable as posible, thinking that people who want to save money on gas will also want a moderate price for the car. It has all the important gizmos like heated remote control mirrors and the rest of the high tech went into the Hybrid Synergy Drive which is truely amazing inovation.
That's way to funny. That's exactly what she said. I really enjoyed driving that car. To bad I'll never get to sit behind the wheel again.
