Just picked up our White Touring #2 Prius Last night @ 9pm and put @200 miles on it already. WE LOVE IT!!! We traded our 07 Nissan Versa for it and it was a real tear jerker as we loved the Versa but the mileage was only @ 25!! Not good for a small car. Anyway.. Looking forward to many many happy miles with this car as we bought it to put the miles on it.!!
Congratulations!! Such a great feeling - I've had mine for two days, so I'm feelin' the joy, too. Like you, I was sad to turn in my 2004 Sonata (I thought it was just sooo beautiful and nice to drive), but 24 MPG is not good. Plus, I looked it up on that fuel efficiency website and it was quite the little polluter. I couldn't be more pleased with my new Prius - it was such an excellent choice! Again, congratulations and enjoy!
Did the flashing light to the left of your dash read-out mean you didn't have your seat belt fastened?
New law here in NJ prohibiting hand-held phone while driving. Video-taping may be more dangerous ... ya think ? at night ? Just want you to keep that new Prius (& you) rolling along

guilty as charged.... stopped at Exit and aired up tires to 42psi.... AND installed seat belt fastener into it''s proper receptacle..
I'm one that resists change I guess. Really really lovin my new ride and just making the necessary adjustments. My son in his car seat used to not be able to reach the controls on the dash in the versa.... but now he can??? I guess not quite as much room?? oh well... Very acceptable trade off and this car has a lot more power than people (who don't own them) give them credit for.!!!

Great pix, and great choice. I've had my Super White 2008 Touring Pkg. 2 for just over 2 months, and love it more every day. On the flat FL terrain and warm climate, you have a set up for some great mpg's. Have fun!

I got a red one...I used to have a little red miata a few years ago, and loved the color. So, when I found this red one, I had to get it! (And it helped that the saleman negotiated with me!) It's really beautiful! And you're right...I'm already attached and love my car!!!
It's not easy being beautiful while getting the best mileage, but smelling good is excellent too! eace:
