I can't tell . The rear window is usually dirty or covered in water droplets so I can't tell whether it's fogged up or not.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Tideland Prius\";p=\"58331)</div> No problem, I wish someone could prove me & my Toyota guy wrong. Well, I may need to use RainX on that from now on .....
am i mistaking the tint on it for dirt? we have constant drizzle and wetness which makes everything dirty. its to the point that my rear window needs to be wiped almost constantly to see anything at all, but the lower window can be seen through just fine. maybe the rain washes the lower window enough to keep it clean?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(flareak\";p=\"58357)</div> Nope, no defroster & no defogger of any sort for that rear lower pane window AFAIK.
The lower window defogs just fine in my Prius. It got fogged up the other day. When I turned on the defogger it cleared up just like it is supposed to. It started at the wire traces and gradually cleared the whole lower window except for a little strip at the bottom of the window.
The wiring diagram does show 2 elements going to the harness, but the repair manual doesn't indicate defogger connections to the lower glass. I'll have to do a manual inspection later.
