Must have been a slow day at work. But seriously, now we know why the U.S. Navy wants to increase the power output of its low frequency communication systems - the signal is being overwhelmed by the pistol-packing shrimp (and possibly amped's lobsters). It is just tough tiddliwinks for the whales and dolphins that get their sonar all screwed up from the increased low frequency output levels....
