I love seeing that savings per tank too. My old vehicle got 17mpg. I make little charts of mpg for my car. I also calculate a weighted average for the mpg. But, it does not affect the overall mpg too much.
The other thing a lot of people look at is a running comparison of the MFD mileage vs. calculated. This seems to be the only way to really figure out how accurate your MFD is. Maybe you are already doing this? Rob
