We purchased our silver on the last day of March in 2005 and very recently had our thirty-some thousand maintenance done. We are very pleased. For about three months before our actual purchase, I spent a lot of time on PriusChat learning a lot about how to purchase and the myths (such as dealers charging a premium), to the point where I got my final and total price before ever setting foot in the dealership where we wound up purchasing the car (not exactly the one we wanted -- we were flexible). We paid cash and drove the car out the same day because we were willing to accept one the dealer already had (in the right color). Am I overlooking something to find the "How to buy a Prius" now on Priuschat? I have a friend whose car just "died" who asked me whether I would recommend a Prius purchase and I gave an enthusiastic "yes"
