Junked the 3 year old 710 Motorola phone when I heard the latest Verizon Samsung phone had no VCast. It took an act of congress type-work around to load the phone list into the Prius on the 710. The Samsung worked just fine. Here's the model:

    SCH-i760 Smart Phone PDA

We needed more bells & whistles, so now I have to learn a ton of features. Even so, being more Object push friendly makes it worth it.

I notice yours is one of the few mentions I can find anywhere of using the Samsung SCH-i760 in the Prius. I'm wondering how that has gone for you, and if you have any tips or web info you've found you could direct me to to help set it up. My wife just got that phone, and has the Prius (2004, i think)

I'm pretty tech savvy, except for Bluetooth and Windows mobile, so this should be fun :>

Seems like a great phone so far. My Treo is getting jealous.

Have you been able to sync your Treo and Prius at all? I have a Treo 700w from Verizon and other than the bluetooth working, nothing.

Please tell me how to sync the Treo 700p with the Bluetooth on the Prius. Somehow I managed to get the Motorola 710 to work just fine but there is no connectivity between the new Treo and the Prius (2004) Bluetooth so far. Help!

    Thanks!

    Verizon + Samsung I760 + 05 Prius = Issues

    Whoa.

I have a 2005 Prius and just got the Samsung SCH-I760. I previously had the Samsung I730 which worked fine (as long as I didn't want to upload a phonebook to the car). However, I am having a problem with the I760...

It will pair up with the car just perfectly when I turn it on.
I can make a call or receive a call with no problem.
I can talk for hours if necessary...
As long as I do it within 30 seconds of turning on the car.
Otherwise, it loses its "handshake" with the bluetooth system.

Verizon has done nothing but wear my battery down with their mindless dribble. But, I did find this website to Verizon's I760 compatible vehicle list HERE.
    Samsung is even worse.
Toyota said they don't support anything past the I700 (4 year old phone). They sent me to the Toyota Bluetooth Phone website. (useless)

If anyone has managed to get their I760 to work with the Prius, please let me know!!!

    Thank You!
