scratch clear plastic dashboard

    I have a very superficial but visible 4-inch scratch on the transparent, charcoal-colored hard plastic immediately below the CD slot in the dash. What products have folks used successfully to treat scratches like this? Should I just ignore it, if there is a risk of making things worse? Thank you for any advice. Charles

    Not much you can do if it's deep.

    You might try PlastX by Meguiar's.

    I have used Brasso and a soft cloth. Now, before you say, "WHAT?!", read the label on the product and you'll see that it is also for plastic. I have cleaned many a plastic lens on cheap watches with Brasso, too!

    You may be able to get a new panel from a Toyota dealer.
