    :D See that did not take long, the web site for the park is http://www.parks.ca.gov/default.asp?page_id=477 .
    It is called Bothe-Napa State Park, really nice picnic area with a covered area in case it rains, so do not let the weather stop you from coming.
    Call all your Prius owner friends and invite them, A good time will be had by all that attend.

    i think we wake up too early and check priuschat too early.. i see a 6:30 am pattern here.. lol I'll meet up with you.. i'll PM you or post a meet location for SJ and southern by area people later today.. once i'm awake.. lol.

    The state park shows up as a Nav POI. 64 miles and about 1.5 hours from Oakland. Driving up, I will make one slight alteration in the recommended route (Use Fairgrounds and American Canyon rather than taking Highway 37 directly to Highway 29).

    It would be nice if a group of us could gather somewhere below St. Helena and convoy the rest of the way We could, for example, meet at the Oakville Grocery so that some of us could pick up goodies (note that they are pricey there). I think that leaving there about 12:30 would be about right.

    If anyone from the East Bay is interested in convoying earlier, send me a private message with your email and we can get a discussion going.

    I like the ideas of everyone meeting up in groups. Maybe we can all meet up at the grocery store before going to the park ?

    we'll still meet up in our groups by city/location where we start from.. but everyone eventualy meet up before we head to the park. just an idea

    This thread has been idle for the last couple of days so I figured I would get it going again, soon as the meet is tomarrow.

    Hey, cobrakid have you thought of a place to meet yet? I was thinking the Mercado Shopping Center in Santa Clara would be a good spot for all the SJ, SC, and S'vale people to meet. Since it is a pretty big place in front of the In-N-Out would make it easy. I think getting there around 9:30 and leaving by 9:45 will give us enough time to be in Calistoga around noon. Let me know if this is cool.

    Also is there anything that is needed for the bbq if anyone knows let me know and I will pick some stuff up. Just so we cover all the bases.

    Mercado theaters parking lot? with the new In-N-Out building? I used to go there all the time. Have an address for the people who may not be familiar with the location? Now, it is sunday, the traffic should not be as bad. We'll leave at 10:30 latest. Want to make sure as many people as possible get a chance to show up. If anyone needs directions or anything, give me a call on my cell 408-712-1461. I'm pretty good with my nav. Maybe i should wash my car tomorrow morning. lol

    Thanks for the note. We had a christening this am, and an Xmas party tonight, so unfortunately, we couldn't make it.

    Next time, maybe we'll be able to meet up.
