Is extra warranty worth the price?

thank goodness i found this site... i originally signed up for it for $3,495!!!

 

Yeesh. Which dealer was selling it at that ridiculous price?

 

So far, my expensive repairs have been a $350 wheel bearing and a $250 water pump. The wheel bearing would not have been covered by the extended warranty, but I'm not sure about the pump.

Closing in on 73,000 miles, I hope I make it to 100,000 without regretting the lack of an extended warranty for $900 or so...

this was my first time buying a new car.... i thought that after the sales guy and i decided on a price, that the price negotiations ended after that. but now i know better, heh. i got it for 27,000 before tax and stuff (package 6 touring), in case you were wondering.
