I purchased my rear bumper protector fro, "The shop" a couple of weeks ago. I was looking at it over the weekend contemplating whether to install or wait for the warmer weather. Noticed on the backside it said Corolla. I thought I was buying OEM prius rear bumper protector. Any ideas why they sent me the corolla? Are they one in the same?
I think technically there is no Prius OEM bumper protector. But the bumper protector for the Corolla and the Matrix are identical and fit the Prius perfectly. So the "Prius OEM" bumper protector you end up with will actually say Corolla or Matrix on it.
Actually, there is a decal that they sell that says "Prius" on it. I have one on my car. But if I had it to do over, I would get the black rubber style protector.
Yeah I know. But I think OP was only talking about the black rubber (plastic really) style one which only says Corolla or Matrix. Doesn't matter though ... the name is not on the outside, and it fits perfectly.
I was speaking about the black rear bumper protector. thanks for the input and will wait until spring to put it on.
