We picked up our 2008 Prius Touring package 2 in Silver Pine Mica last Saturday and are very happy with it so far. Mileage on the first tank was about 42 mpg with a mix of highway and town driving (including quite a bit of idling) in fairly cold temps (-15 to about +20). First trip averaged 50.4 mpg so we're learning. We had the dealer include a block heater in the deal when we ordered the car (thanks to PriusChat Forums info). I have the pipe insulation and will be partially or fully blocking the grille in the next few days. PriusChat was very helpful to us in making the decision to purchase a Prius and in deciding on options. Looking forward to continuing to enjoy the forums and Prius ownership!
