anyone catch the show this past week on Wed (i believe) in it they were talking about the founders of Google. immediately after mentioning that they were worth billions of dollars, she said although rich, they still had simple lifestyles and simple tastes including the fact that one of them drove a 2004 Toyota Prius. they actually showed a Prius driving (although the clip was sped up... i think in consideration to their Ford sponsors...) i guess someone should educate Barbara that a good value does not mean simple. she is obviously under the impression that to have the best, it must cost 5 times what anything else in its category costs... imo, the Prius is one of the best i could buy for any price.
Dave, Did you see the interview she had with Ken Jennings, if so how was he, I caught a few Jeopardy shows with him and I was impressed with his knowledge, how can all that information be stuffed in one brain is beyond me, I have trouble just going to the grocery store with a list. Harry
ya i saw the show that he finally lost on. for someone soooo smart, he sure blew an easy question. although he didnt admit to it, i cant help but feel that maybe he was a bit tired of playing the game... there are a lot of records that are considered unreachable, DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak, maybe even the .426 average by Nap Lajoie?? or who ever it was, but i am willing to bet that Ken's 74 game winning streak is truly a record for the ages.
