Here is my favorite application for Palm OS that keeps track of vehicle repair costs, MPG, scheduled maintainence, and integrates with the calender so you get an alarm when it's time to service the vehicle. Holds up to 4 cars. It is VERY POWERFUL, so it has a slight learning curve, but it is the best application I have found thus far (as of October 2004). It is Freeware, so feel free to distribute it at will. This is version 6.0. It can keep track of your fuel economy as well, simply enter the odometer and gallons (and price if you like) at fillup and it will log the entry. Averages can be calculated using the summary feature. Enjoy!
I'm installing it right now to test it out. But according to the PDF file that came with it, it disables itself in 15 days if you don't register it for $10. This makes it shareware and not freeware. But it still may be worth it.
Re: TotalCar PalmOS MPG and repair log and maintainence remi It's freeware. Read the readme, "v6.0: converted to freeware." Trust me, it works well. Nate
Re: TotalCar PalmOS MPG and repair log and maintainence remi Nate, PriusChat is great. For example, I would never have learned of this little, dynamic program for the Palm had it not been for your post. I downloaded and installed it today. What's even better, I'll have a fresh start with my new Prius when it arrives. For those of you with a Palm, this program is worth trying. Regards,
Re: TotalCar PalmOS MPG and repair log and maintainence remi Glad you liked it! I wish I could take credit for having written it. Nate
