Yikes...after looking over several threads, I wonder if someone who bought a Prius in France is welcome.... Anyway, we just bought a 2008 Prius and will take delivery next Saturday. I am very excited, have wanted one for years...but couldn't justify a new car until the old one "retired" (1989 Volvo Station Wagon...practically a member of the family) We don't buy cars...we adopt them!!! Can't wait to welcome our new car...and look forward to any help or advice.

Oh no who let the French Prius owner in? I don't see any indication a French owner wouldn't be welcome. Can someone check the back door? Welcome to PC, please let us know how fantastic the Prius is compared to the European cars.

Thanks to all for the welcome! I haven't compared what we paid with prices in the States! ( Don't tell me!!!!) I think it might be a little more expensive than some French cars the same size but then...a hybrid and a Toyota!!! So worth it. And it came standard with things that have to be added on to the French packages. I also think my husband wants me happy so I really didn't get involved in the whole price thing. I can't wait until Saturday when we pick it up. A bientot!
