Sagging Headliner 2004 Prius

    My 2004 Prius Headliner sags about 1" in the middle of the car. I didn't think much of it until I got my 2005 Prius and noticed that Toyota had put 2 plastic retainers in the headliner exactly where my 2004 Prius headliner sags. I took my 2004 into the Toyota Service dealer, showed them the problem and showed them my 2005 Prius headliner fix. They took some pictures and sent them to Toyota HQ. About 3 weeks later I was told by the Service Dept. to bring my 2004 Prius in and they would replace the headliner.

    Has anyone else noticed this problem and did the Service Dept. fix it?

    We all thought it was just normal. I've seen other headliners sag like that and why should the prius be all that much different.. then again, it's a prius.. it's different. Good to hear they are raising it back up.. although i've never seen a need for the ceiling being that tall. :)

    My headliner sags. Although not enough to be annoying yet, I'll get my dealer to fix it on my next oil change.
