GM, Toyota battle turns electric - Boston.com DETROIT (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp <7203.T><TM.N>, likely to claim the title of world's biggest automaker later this month from General Motors Corp <GM.N>, on Monday threw down the gauntlet to GM in a race for the next "green" car.
Without a product available, a battle cannot take place. Where is TWO-MODE anyway? Sales were suppose to begin late last year. But to this point, I have yet to here of any arriving at dealers. .

If they wanted more time, why didn't GM just come out at the get go and say 2011 or 2012. I think GM just wanted to use the positive news press and didn't expect to actually have to produce a car. I mean they have already putting their Volts in the advertisements 3-4 monts ago for a car that may not be ready in 3 years.
