I've been reading the forums for a little while, just purchased a 2008 Prius last weekend and am considering purchasing the Ultimate Lockpick 3+ to go with it. I have e-mailed Coastal Etech without response and searched the forums without much luck so hopefully someone can answer this question for me ... After installing the Lockpick do the wheels on the display still turn, and do the mileage bars still update correctly? I believe one of the mod options disable these things and I'd prefer to not do that. Also, does it disable/negatively affect any other features of the car? Thanks!
I recently (2 weeks ago) installed the Ultimate Lockpick 3 in my 2008. The wheels turn and the bars are good. I haven't noticed any negative side effects and it works as advertised so far. The only things I have noticed that I would like to see improved would be: 1. To my knowledge, you can't browse MP3 CD folders while in motion. 2. I wish I knew of a way to get rid of the "DVD Hint: touch screen to get DVD Changer controls" when accessing the Video Input as the DVD changer on screen (since it is not applicable as the Lockpick only a DVD changer, and is obviously not installed).

I was wondering what your impressions were after having this system for a month plus? I read one comment on another thread (http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-modifications/42844-problem-coastal-lockpick-2008-a.html) That it wasn't working so hot. Thanks -SGN
I have installed the Coastal Ulitmate Lockpick3 and it seems to work with my 2008 with Nav. I like the phone trans button but I have no color playing my I pod and can't get a respones from Coastal.
