I am interested in talking with anyone else who is obsessed with this car. I generally view this forum and the Topix - Prius news web almost every day. I read every single entry of John's website before I bought my 2007 Silver I-Tech and have researched (because I am an engineer) all about the Hybrid drive and brake system. I drive everyone nuts with this obsession, but I just love this car. To drive, to research to talk about. Is there anyone else out there?

For the past 25 years I have driven either Cadillacs or Lincolns and I bought my Prius on from kind of a practical joke. Now that I have my Prius I rarely drive my Cadillac and I feel like a 16 year old kid again with his first car. So far I have installed perforated leather seats, a LED interior light package, a full dark burled wood dash kit and a BT stiffening plate. I now feel like I'm driving a cadillac that gets 54 MPG.
My girlfriend tells me I'm obsessed as well and I don't even own one yet! I check this site EVERY day I'm online ... constantly changing my mind about what I want, whether I want to wait for a while, etc, etc, etc. I am obsessed ... I drive through the nearby Toyota dealership at least once a week to check what they have in as well. They have a loaded Touring in Super White right now and it's tough to pass up!
Mine went from a car to a hobby to an obsession to a major, possibly lifelong, project. I was able to combine to different interests into something that took on a life of its own.
