Does any one know where one may purchase die-cast models of the Prius? I know Tomy makes one but I'm looking for something more detailed. The scale isn't real important. Thanks

Howdy jaypeedee..! Log on to eBay.com. Search for Item #6938788853. Is a diecast 04-05 Prius (1:43 scale) currently bid @ $59 and lists $8 shipping/handling. Located in Amsterdam NE. This Seller also has other items (click on "View Seller's Other Items" - top right section of window). His description is not extremely detailed regarding moving parts but there is also ability to email him with questions. As popular as are our Prius, looks like other manufacturers would produce a well-made model providing opening doors, hatch, etc.
I bought mine from ebay think it was Tommy Toys or something like that from Hong Kong, cost only $4 plus shipping, but it was a few months ago
I have Tommy 106(Silver and Blue set) for Sale. Also, I have 1/30 Scale Toyota Original Diecast which like Minichamps color in Tideland.
I just looked at this auction...price is now $76.00... this guy sold another Prius last week for $99.00.. I bought mine from SpeedRacer, he delivers quickly, his price is better.. and you know where he is.. I have looked for the MiniChamps Prius, and can't find anyone selling them... not sure where the guy in Amsterdam is getting the ones he is selling.....SpeedRacer says it's only a dealer item in Japan.. Prius Left in Dryer too Long on PriusChat As far as I can obtain there are 4 sizes of Prii: 1/30 given to buyers in Japan (Speedracer found some of us one)- doors open 1/43 done by Minichamps in Europe as a Toyota promo item (5 so far on Ebay, only 3 were avail to US people) 1/60 Tomica (commonly avail on Ebay) -Silver and Blue only 1/150 size Prii,by Model Planning in Japan in boxed sets. Set JN-9 A has a Tideland and Pearlized white with a little man beside them. Set JN-9 B has a Silver and Salsa Red with a little man beside them. This picture shows: 1/30 large gray to left, 1/150 in boxes to the right and in front to the left- taken out of the boxes, and the middle size 1/60 Tomica gray in the middle (my "Garage" of Prii) .
i got a 1/30 model in tidelands pearl that matches my car. got it from Speedracer... its totally cool!!!

could be just the pic, but the colors look like the ones we have although it looks like the silver(could be the gold) is on the top right and btm left.
I'd like one in 1/87 scale (HO Train scale). Would be neat to put it in one of the modules we will be displaying at the train show on the 19th.
I currently own a full-scale Prius. It is fully-functional with moving hatch, steering wheel, and wheels that roll. The scale is 1:1 and it is NOT for sale.
Gee Tony... i think you would easily become attached to a small Prius especially one that was in the same exact color
