Quick - What's your MPG read right now?

Or by installing an engine block heater.

 

47.2. I haven't hit the reset button in a few months because for several tanks I was getting 43-45 mpg on every tank. I improved it a bit and left it as is since. I think my lifetime avg is about 46.8 or therebouts. It might be in my signature, I can't remember...

 

47.4 on the current tank.

all grills blocked.

in the 40's Fahrenheit daytime in Maryland.

 

46.5 mpg on my 4th or 5th tank (can't remember). No heat blocking mods or anything, just easy on the throttle and brakes.

 

I do not mean to hijack the thread, but how do you block the grills?

I just filled up, reset the trip computer, and drove 11 miles to my home with the new high average MPG of 69.8 !!!

Tire pressure set to 42/40, temperature in the low 80's and the car was already warmed up.

Granted, I was driving with every intent to get the best mileage I could, but I average about 54 MPG overall.

 

122 miles, 43.4 mpg

 

This is my second post to this thread, although with a new reading:

54.2 mpg - 180 miles on current tank - grills blocked and EBH - 36 degrees - tires 44 psi.

 

45.6mpg 100 miles in New England

 

42 mpg, 280 miles. First tank of the car.

 

54.7 mpg at 93 miles. Outside temperature in 30's. Grille-blocking, Mobil-1 synthetic 5W-30, tires at 35 psi. 10 minute drive to work, 10 minute drive home. Longer runs result in warm engine - 61.2 mpg at 107 miles.

 

[2008, Package 2]200 miles @ 47.2 MPG -- In Chicago, with temps this morning at 4 degrees F. I was getting as much as 57 MPG in the summertime.

 

368 miles @ 56.6 MPG

 

711 km, 21.5 km/l.

Zero. I'm sitting at my desk.

 

48.4 with this 3/4 tank.

I had been consistently getting 37 mpg.

I only have about 2780 miles total so far.

I take lots of short trips and have been trying to combine errands. I was pet sitting about an 8 mile trip, that had some good coasting routes.

I noticed the mileage getting better on my last tank and this one is better.

I was told there was a new car break in period, so I have been trying not to freak out about the low mileage.
