I had one of those. It was "Car of the Year" so I bought one new. My luck, it goes from car of the year to lemon in just a few years. The aluminum engine block wore out and I had to put a quart of oil in every 200 miles, and that was at 70K miles. I had to sell it.

That was my last GM car...

Opel Kadett type E 3-door hatchback 1985 modell (German GM).

It leaked water inside every time it was raining and I could not find out where the source was from, even if I stripped the interiour down to metal twice and used a garden hose to soak it outside.

The doors got stuck everytime it was below 0 degrees outside (celcius), and I had to enter the car from the back door many times during the winter. The platic bits broke during cold tempratures (door handles ++).
