I have weather tech floor liners. They fit extremely well and with the snow right now, I am VERY grateful to have them.

 

I use weathertech rubber mats in my truck and they work extremely well.

They are nice, heavy, and have a great appearance. I especially like the cargo mat. Additionally, they don't have a bulky perimeter edge. The cut perfectly fits the floor. There is a 10% discount this week.

I'm going into my second winter with the OEM rubber mats. In fact, I have kept them in the car since last October when I purchased them, and they are wearing quite well. They look just like the one Danny has above, the OEM and the Weathertech. I can highly recommend them to preserve your carpet and car.

I ordered the WeatherTech floorliners, after having been a customer of WeatherTech's floor mats in my previous car. I must say that I prefer the liners, even though the front ones do not go up as high on the front floorboard as the mats. Otherwise, the coverage and fit are very good! I also anticipate that the lack of the ridges within the mat will make them easier to clean.

 

In my search for a cargo mat that would cover the entire cargo area, with the rear seats folded down... I have found two options so far.

This mat is nifty because it can function with the rear seats folded up or down -- definitely convenient. A little pricey at $169. Available in a fun Hawaiian print, should one feel so inclined.

Called a "large deck mat". Reviews are all extremely positive. This looks a little more heavy duty. Advantage is that it doesn't have the split between the seats (should something spill). Only complaint is the smell of the plastic, which dissipates over a few weeks' time. Price is more reasonable at $69.99. A raised lip around the edge would be nice, but it does have "dimples".

Thought someone else might find this useful.

 

I have the Lloyds mats as well and they are great. I work in a dirty environment and they are good at catching all the mess.

I bough mine at Costco. They are nice quality, heavy with deep grooves, which I like. Only problem is both front mats are symmetrical (opposed to separate driver side and passenger side) so the drivers side needed to be trimmed down a bit to allow for the left foot rest.

 

I got some universal fit rubber mats at Canadian Tire. All four cost me $48 plus tax. They fit reasonably well and do a good job keeping dirt/slush and snow off the carpet

If the weather is really slushy or heavy snow, I take the FJ. It has a factory plastic floor. A sponge and a bucket, and 15 minutes later it's clean

 

I have both sets. The pliable rubber Toyota mat is nice; heavy and stays in place. The weathertech is a harder, thinner, stiff rubber/plasticf kind of mat. It provides better coverage all the way around. I just wish it was a little thicker and more pliable.

THESE are the mats...even w/ the mat hooks installed, that got caught ON TOP of my gas pedal ...twice..and gave my wife and I a scare. Even with the mat hooks inserted in the cutouts, the mat can still shift around.

Be careful with these. If the mat ever shifts forward a bit..and you need to floor the gas....the gas pedal will get stuck UNDER the mat.

Living in a place with a well earned reputation for wetness, I'm very glad to have the OEM rubber mats.

 

Some additional info

When I first installed those mats, I just put them on top of the carpet mats that come with the car. After a year and a half of use....the mat decided to slide forward one night when the problem started. After that incident, I removed the carpet mat...noticed the holes in the rubber mat, punched them out and installed it over the mat hooks. 3 days later, my wife had to floor the gas and the pedal got stuck again. Out it went!

I am thinking about upgrading to the mats (I think the first one danny shows) that also cover the hump in the second row...what's the point of mats in the back...if you leave the hump uncovered? SOMEONE is going to put their snowy feet on it!
