That's fabulous. I have the gray on my black. I wanted subtle and white or red weren't as subtle as gray. But gray on gray? Now that is sleek.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godiva @ Jun 30 2007, 04:47 PM) </div> Thanks! Yes, something subtle was our gool as well. We didn't know if gray/gray was going to work out but we got positively surprised. We then wanted pass on these pics if others are thinking the same.
Yeah! Another New Englander! Check out the New Englander Group thread. Anyone have an opinion of what color would look best on a Classic Silver Metallic? They're really that easy to put on?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Neicy @ Jun 30 2007, 07:44 PM) </div> That is great! Do you have a link to the New England thread so I don't have to search for it .. Best color on silver? That is tricky. I think it would be either black or gray. Perhaps gray would be my first choice. By the way, we have small sample stickers left over in white, black and gray if you want to hold them against your car and see with your own eyes before ordering. The stickers come with clear instructions and a tool to apply them with. All you need is a couple of weeks of time to spare for the job... LOL no, we did it in less than 30 mins. The stickers are attached to back sheet that keep all letters together and once the stickers are in place on the car, you simply remove the backing. There is no need to align letter by letter as we first thought...! The kit comes with two side stickers and a small and large version of the back sticker (we used the small) plus some smaller sample stickers in various colors. PS We are not far from Wakefield so help is close at hand
That does look nice! Well done! So, what did YOU do with all the little extra decals that were included?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(99.9mpg @ Jun 30 2007, 07:40 PM) </div> Right here Another Bay State Magnetic Grey! That's TWO things in your favor! I was in Boston just today (eating Kim Chee)! If you saw some other Magnetic Grey Prius in Chinatown today, that was me.
Great Magnetic Gray photos. Quick question: What year did Toyota start offering the Prius in Magnetic Gray?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mcbrunnhilde @ Jul 1 2007, 03:51 PM) </div> Correction: 2006 (and I got a 2006 Magnetic Grey Prius to prove it).
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Stev0 @ Jul 1 2007, 05:18 PM) </div> Thanks. The photos of the few used 2005 "Gray" Prius's didn't quite look like Magnetic Gray. Of course, finding a used 2006 Magnetic Gray Prius for sale and well under $20K looks futile.
Thanks for posting this. I wondered what the gray would look like and now know that I'll put in on mine. I hope I do as good a job as you did.
