<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(prim2 @ Nov 28 2007, 11:37 AM) </div> I guess I'm the only Toyota employee here. I'm the Shop Foreman for L&S Toyota in Beckley,WV.
Officially, I'm a Ministerial Briefing and Liaison Officer for the Public Health Agency of Canada. Technically, I'm a worker drone. ;-) MAB
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(toyotechwv @ Nov 28 2007, 10:57 AM) </div> Hmm, no automotive, or even service category. Not sure what you'd pick. There are other Toyota employees in PriusChat though, apparently you mean in this poll (so far). I'm another engineer, currently writing code for medical devices, but I think techmology is a better fit than medical, so I'm one of the crowd.
Mine's not here either. I'm a slave, of 'She who must be obeyed' . . . but for money, and to supposedly better myself and humanity, I managed to get a doctor's degree decades ago . . . proving any moron can do anything, if you only apply yourself.
I do far too many things to answer the poll accurately but have replied under the business/management category. Without that aspect of my career, I would never choose to engage in sales (puke, as Martin so accurately put it) that I currently am forced to engage. A large portion of my career also comprises finance.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Nov 28 2007, 09:14 AM) </div> I think that would be under Entertainment / Arts or possibly Business / Management.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Nov 28 2007, 12:14 PM) </div> Well it's hard out here for a pimp when you try to get this money for rent" LOL Seriously though I'm glad that we live in such a techmologically advanced society.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Nov 28 2007, 12:14 PM) </div> Evan, at least it was you who said this and not Tony. I think we've all seen pictures of you both. Clothed pictures, thankfully. I guess I'm a cross of Medical and Techmology. I'm a chemist working on OTC products.
I shoot RIM-7P missiles AKA NatoSeaparrow and repair the electronics in protection of aircraft carriers such as Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71 and Harry S Truman CVN-75.
Hmmm. I guess "Education" fits best. I'm an Astronomer, but I've been spending time recently thinking about how to use electronic media to teach Astronomy to the public (and how to teach college students to do the same).
I chose real estate, though the category doesn't exactly fit right. I work in property development and property management. We manage two of the Toyota buildings here in Torrance, CA.
EDI Consulting (Electronic Data Interchange). So we're a techmical company. However, I manage the business which would put me more in the likes of business management (25%), sales puke (25%) marketing guru (25%), as well as tecmology (25%).
Just for the record, I tried to correct the spelling in "Techmology" but the *edit* feature wouldn't allow it... anyway, too many posts had already been made, and its pretty funny!! That's what I get posting from a phone... <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(sparkyAZ @ Nov 27 2007, 11:27 PM) </div> Sparky: I practiced law for about 15 years and when I moved to the mountains I took a job with the National Park Service as a National Park Ranger, so Ranger David is accurate. I've since gone back to the legal profession since after 911 and the President's appointment of Fran Norton to head the Department of the Interior, she decided the best thing for national security would be to eliminate Federal Agent jobs..... and several positions were cut, so I went back to the lawyer thing....
