I was in court this morning talking with one of the guardian ad litems, who is another Prius owner. I began thinking of all the folks I've met on here, and began wondering what we all do for a living..... If its been done before, its been awhile and many of our members sort of come and go, so this should be interesting. I've tried to include as many professions as possible, generalizing when possible.
SAN engineer is my calling in life for now. Other than that, all kinds of Yoonix and Oracle in my past. No Windows so far (wheeew)
None of these fit what I do. I push paper clips and read all your legal documents for the "Good Hands" auto insurance company and determine whether or not your agent gave you the correct discounts that you are qualified for. Yes its mind numbing.
Industrial Piping Designer. I guess that would be construction, though that is a different part of the process.
PLEASE tell me I'm not the only sales puke here!!!! Actually, I'm 75% sales and 25% techmology, maybe 60/40. Gotta be able to walk the walk if I'm talking the talk.....

Right-wing talkers would say I am sucking at the public teat. (I get a social security check). Used to be a technical business analyst for a Medicare-A contractor, prior to that a programmer for medical billing software & prior to that a math teacher. (and somewhere in between a stay-at-home-mom for 2 children)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(sparkyAZ @ Nov 27 2007, 10:26 PM) </div> Second that...
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Rangerdavid @ Nov 27 2007, 05:47 PM) </div> I would have never guessed your profession based on your screen name. This is more along the lines of what I was thinking before I read this thread: [attachmentid=12650] Of course, if you've never seen the Red Green show this post probably makes no sense....so please don't sue me (just wrap me up with duct tape)!
i think engineer should be added... i'm a structural engineer so i voted for construction... even though i never touch a hammer or a drill....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godiva @ Nov 27 2007, 05:50 PM) </div> I'm a Techmologist. I think its similar to a Cosmetologist.
I went with government but really I'm in enforcement, compliance, transport, education, legal, and techmical all in one. I should be paid more when I think about it.
I'm having a hard time deciding. Do to the current housing market I'm either in real estate or unemployed.
