At first, people were impressed with my "diesel truck" in a parking lot: KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Until I told them it was a POS GM gas motor, wonder how many sales I personally tanked for GM?

In fact I turbocharged the stock 5.3L and had no trouble running low 12s at over 550rwhp and we recently made over 700rwhp on the stock block. LSx engines are pretty cool IMO. Unfortunately the fuel milage even with a twin turbo kit is pretty dismal at 14mpg so I sold it to my buddy. As much as I bash GM these days, I cannot fault them on the products I've owned.
