I have a 2004 with a 6 CD player that appears to be broken - can't eject or play CDs. I see Prius radios available on ebay. Two questions: 1. Can I use a newer radio like 2005, 2006 in my 2004 2. Is it easy to change out the radio - anyone know where I can find instructions or the manual (without buying one)? Do you need a special tool? Thanks
An 05 yes. An 06+ you'll have to replace the brain, monitor, dvd player.... virtually everything but the harness itself.
