Car icon flashing when is not use

    Hello,

    I have just purchased a used 2005 Prius with 100k+ milage. Is it normal an "Car icon" flashing from the warning light indicator section when car is not use? Thanks

    That is a security light. It will always blink after you turn your car off.

    That one got me too...after I'd had the car a few months (parked in the garage each night), I happened to park in the driveway. Kept seeing a flashing light coming from the car & freaked out until I figured out what it was. :p
