For the record, you can also get Car Pool Lane Rights in Virginia.

 

And New York! However, I received them and didn't put them on. New York state requires 4 stickers! One on every corner of the car. The carpool lane in my area only extends about 20-30 miles on the Long Island Expressway and it has certain hours posted. So I haven't felt a need to enter the carpool lane.

30-34 yr female here. I chose "Wanted to help the environment" but it was also the mileage and the fact that the Prius is a hatchback. And so darned cute too.

Actually, this poll is not just about what kind of person owns a Prius. Its about what kind of person owns a Prius AND actively participates in the PriusChat website. So, some of the questions might be skewed. Lets see... which questions would be skewers <_< ... without being sexist or racist or otherwise prejudiced, I claim the 5th.

Hmm.. I seem to be the only 16-19 year old who owns a Prius, and reads PriusChat as well.

My main reason for getting a Prius was so that when the environment is totally screwed I can say "It wasn't me!".

(BTW, I am the one making the car payment. The Prius makes a great first car if you get a used one.)
