Hi everyone! I was wondering if the prius can play MP3/WMA files burned onto a CD, as opposed to converting a CD into a music CD and then playing it. Thanks.

Yes, you can play data cds. You can place different songs in different file folders before you burn the cd. While you cannot view the track information while in-motion, you can up/down between folders while in-motion. This will be much faster than just changing up/down tracks.
I burn mp3 versions of audiobooks on cds, and sometimes get 3-4 novels on each cd. It sure makes listening in traffic easier without changing disks each time. My commute is more than 1 regular cd long, so the mp3s really make life simpler while in the car anyway.

Or if it does, it takes a while to load the data in, and then if you go back and try it again, it won't show anything.
My 2006 works fine with MP3s, but WMA format files don't even show up on the file list. Is this my personal cloud, or is there some secret to making WMA files work?
