What do you guys think? Could this be a prius scoop? It is seen in Germany. And accourding to the doorgrips, and the photographer said it didn't make to much noise. This could be a Prius I think.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godyn @ Nov 3 2007, 01:00 PM) </div> Given the display on the dash, the symbol placement inside, and the other body clues I would guess that you have a shot of the new 'plug in' Prius that is due out in either '09' or '10'. The window treatment looks like it has been applied to assist in the disguise since you can see the regular Prius window underneath. The auto manufacturers go to great lengths to hide their prototypes! Or perhaps this is a rare triangle Leopard Prius?
It's a VW. What would a prototype Prius be doing roaming around Germany? It doesn't look like a Prius to me. It looks more like a VW. Harry
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Godyn @ Nov 4 2007, 04:00 AM) </div> Chevrolet Nubira: kleine Epica http://www.autowereld.com/spyshots/detail.asp?artikel=4808
Hi All, The car pictured does not have a hatch either. And the roof is not scalloped for for reduced air-drag like a Prius either. Next Generation Jetta ?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(patsparks @ Nov 3 2007, 08:08 PM) </div> No way thats definately a jetta, it looks like the old passat body, so it must be a jetta.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TomorrowMatters @ Nov 3 2007, 07:27 PM) </div> Except that it is a Chevy.
Looks like a new Jetta. But if its a Chevy then its a Chevy. do not know what a Chevy is doing in Germany though. All I can say is its definately not a Prius, case closed. Actually yeah it has Chevy rims and a Chevy front.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(IsrAmeriPrius @ Nov 4 2007, 01:14 AM) </div> Engine? Fuel economy? For sale in North America? I can't read a word on that website Harry Looking at that first picture, is that an entrance to the Nurburgring race track? http://nurburgring.org.uk/photos/index.html Harry
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(cellculturist @ Nov 3 2007, 10:21 PM) </div> Probably being developed by Opel. It resembles the new Vectra. According to this article, the new Saturn Aura is based on the 2009 Opel Vectra.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Earthling @ Nov 4 2007, 10:31 AM) </div> I know a very little German, but that's Dutch, so I couldn't make out much either. But apparently all Daewoos in Europe are sold under the Chevy logo, including the Nubira, and this is apparently the 2009 version of the Nubira. I think it says it is sold in sedan, station wagon and hatchback versions. I didn't see anything about fuel economy or hybrid technology. Just happens to have a physical similarity to the Prius silhouette.
yep , it's dutch I'm from belgium. It's official now Its's a :trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr kajjjinggg New Chevrolet Nubira: Small Epica indeed, All Deawoo's have become Chevrolet over here.
From the wheels, it looks like one of the new Jetta common rail diesels. http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publish/vol...icle_2088.shtml
