Unfortunately most "Career" State Department employees believe in our Country not a party or policy. They try to do their jobs the same as our soldiers do. It sounds like the State Department is trying to assign people who never planned on foreign service just wanted to serve our government here. Chicken Hawks will bail rather actually risk their lives for our country.
I think it great idea. If we want to solve this diplomatically we can't do it sitting in a office in Washing DC. Now some other government workers get to feel what we have been feeling in the military for a long time. Time to cut out some dead wood in the state dept.
