Good morning, I noticed GreenHybrid.com is not responding this morning. Anyone have an idea about what is going on? Thanks, Bob Wilson
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bwilson4web @ Oct 21 2007, 08:26 AM) </div> I also found that the website is down. Too bad - I just got home from a road trip and have 7 fillups to enter.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Tideland Prius @ Oct 21 2007, 05:59 PM) </div> Yes, in addition to that, quite a few odd things have also been happening there as well. Like people not being able to change their email account. Of course, when that fails you cannot post or reply to posts either. This too has been happening to me over the last week. Anyway, I'm sure they'll figure it out. MSantos
I got in long enough to make a backup copy of my mileage. The discussion area seems to still be down but that isn't so important. Bob Wilson
Today it seems to want something installed that seems to require a php.ini file on one's computer. I don't have it. So can't get in. Can get to the mileage data base, however. Just not the discussions. Zend Optimizer not installed
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Prius101 @ Oct 22 2007, 10:04 AM) </div> Same here. I don't plan to -- nor, IMHO, should I have to -- install some unknown piece of software just to participate in forum discussions.
I get the impression that "Zend Optimizer" is supposed to run on the GreenHybrid server and is not a 'plug-in.' Regardless, it is Monday and eventually they'll get a clue. Until then, folks should check their mileage records and do a "save as" to copy the HTML to their local system. If worse comes to worse, it is easy enough to extract the mileage data from the HTML text. Bob Wilson
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(bwilson4web @ Oct 22 2007, 08:36 AM) </div> Ah, that makes sense. That is why I don't have the file on my computer and why it was asking about the type of server! But I won't worry about the backup, since I still have the data on the original notepad in the car and on my PDA as well! Only a few tanks (less than 20) so far. Hope they get it fixed soon. I did send them an email, but no response so far....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Prius101 @ Oct 22 2007, 11:01 AM) </div> Priuschat also had about a 10-minute burp just now. After several attempts I finally got in. Maybe the California fires are interrupting power or communications?? Where are the Greenhybrid and Priuschat servers located?
Looks like GreenHybrid.com is back and I too noticed the PriusChat outages. I understand both use vBulletin and wonder if this may be a common cause. Some noise in vBulletin about a security patch. Regardless, stuff happens. 6:00AM (CDT) 10/23/07 - Discussion area broke, database error. 2:21PM (CDT) 10/23/07 - Even the home page is broke. 5:15PM (CDT) 10/23/07 - A "we're fixing it" page showed up (less bad than before) Bob Wilson

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Tideland Prius @ Oct 23 2007, 10:41 PM) </div> Thanks! I didn't know. GeenHybrid reports having fixed their problems, a combination of server and database errors. Bob Wilson
