Just wanted to wish you Happy Birthday, and hope you both do something special to celebrate. You deserve it.

Simon Cowell was born on my birthday. (hawk spit) Congrats on choosing the best month to be born in. Now take that birthday suit out for a spin.
Yes, happy birthday, Galaxee, and many more good ones to come. Thanks for your many helpfull posts. I'm glad you are with us Lee
I was away from the computer yesterday so I missed this thread. So a belated Happy Birthday, Galaxee!
thanks everyone i've decided that the birthday money i got is going to tint the windshield... i've been wanting this for over a year because my eyes are so light sensitive... so i'm really excited
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee @ Oct 20 2007, 12:42 PM) </div> Well I'm glad your finally going to get that done anyway, and happy birthday. I have one coming up next week but I've had a lot more of them than you have. Haven't been on this site lately because I sold my Prius and bought a BMW. It's a pretty nice car and I will keep it until the new version of the Prius comes out, then I will probably get one of those, kind of looking forward to it. BTW I never put much stock in reports posted here that you didn't "get much respect" on the road when you drove a Prius. Well I believe it now, I was surprised how nice other drivers were to me when I started driving the BMW. I don't exactly know why that's true, I have some theories but no way to gather any evidence.
wow- tumbleweed, long time no see! october birthdays are the best (and that goes to you too, Godiva!) nicer cars tend to get treated nicer... we actually have an older lexus as our second car now (story here) and DH gets plenty of respect- along with some real looks- when driving it around.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee @ Oct 20 2007, 01:51 PM) </div> Yes I agree, it's due to the class system we don't have. Glad "Project Lexus" turned out so well, you guys really have a lot of talent. That baby will probably last DH for years.
Belated birthday wishes to you, Galaxee! Just keep on celebrating the whole rest of the month. (I have the same problem as you with the ultra-sensitive eyes--for that reason, all the photographs of me in the family albums are with my eyes closed. Can't keep them open during a flash.)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(tumbleweed @ Oct 20 2007, 05:37 PM) </div> thanks. a few years anyway, these engines don't tend to last as long as the bulletproof 4-cyl ones. even if we had to rebuild another engine to put in it down the road, the cost of the thing is still well worth it. thanks AuntBee! my eyes are ALWAYS closed in pictures... i remember recently a 3rd year student trying to take a group picture of all us 4th years... he had to take about 3 because my eyes were always closed! thanks school's ok, pretty tired of it, but at least i'm starting something new and interesting.
