I love the Toyota Prius but a friend just sent me an article from 'Recorder On Line' which blew me away. The aricle was written by Chris Demmoro who is a staff writer from R O L. He writes that the manufacturing of a Prius is far more devastating to the environment than a Hummer??? Does anyone know about this and can anyone write back about these findings? And, yes the frequently debunked CNW article seems to be the basis. Always amazes me that they never talk about all the stuff going into the Hummer, just the Prius.
