Pollepel Island This was not an instant recognition. It looked like eastern climate. Prudence is from Hudson Valley so I started in NY harbor and went up the Hudson River and there it was. Post in a minute.
I found this place while looking for another post. One thing I have found by playing this game, is that I have learned a lot about history. Too bad they didn't teach this way when I was in school. Here is the next one.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Toups @ Oct 13 2007, 01:50 PM) </div> It seems as if the sharpness and contrast of the image is of lesser quality than usual.Maybe it is a smoggy or dust storm prone location. I havent been able to find image quality that compares yet.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(mojo @ Oct 13 2007, 06:39 PM) </div> Time for another hint. The army is ancient, but the building is modern.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Toups @ Oct 13 2007, 09:37 PM) </div> Crap, I looked right at that and literally saved the image (a significantly wider shot though) for a future post for this game....but never noticed that particular crop....
Well, it's not the hill most recognized as the likely location of "The Sermon on the Mount" near Capernaum on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, nor anything in that area (Evan's picture's resolution is much poorer than the razor sharp detail available in that area). So what other low, nondescript hill surrounded by small orchards in an arid region would be famous? It's famous enough it's got a visitor center and a trail to the summit (if that's what those are), but I've shot my one cartridge on this one. MB

This armys motto is partially "failure isnt an option...." they might want to modify that.
